First scope

I can get this used at a shop near my house for $175 (Orion SkyQuest XT6) and i was wondering how good of a scope this would be to get me started. I had been looking at getting a 8" LightBridge but for almost $300 less I can get this one. let me know what you think

Hi
We don't sell Orion, so can't comment too much, but ,remember, the size of the scope in terms of the diameter of the lens or mirror is still the main factor in telescope performance. All else equal, an 8" scope sees more than a 6"
