Aligning with true north

Wow! so much info here! My wife purchased a telescope for my daughter. I don't believe it is a well known brand but it seems pretty good. A Rokinon Model 90060EQ. It has an Equatorial mount. Objective diameter is 60mm. Focal length is 900mm. It came with a 4mm, 12.5mm, and a 25mm eyepieces. Also a 2x and 3x Barlow. Now to my question and by the way thank you so much for being here. Hopefully we will get some enjoyment from this telescope!! Okay back to my question, how do I align the telescope to true north? Dumb question or easy one? The telescope has two (or three?) dials with numbers on them that I'm assuming are degrees? I will probably have more questions but thats it for starters. Thanks again!!

If it is an equatorial mount, you align by pointing at Polaris, the North Star. For a good explanation of aligning an equatorial mount, see the Celestron site or Sky&Telescope
