Hi,

This is normal for a telescope. Telescopes were made to look at objects floating in space and the orientation does not matter when looking at a planet or other astronomical object.
Best regards,

Ryan,
I am assuming that you have a reflector telescope. All reflector telescope show an upside down imaging; to make the object rightside up you have to buy a erector lens.
