Hello I am looking at this scope to buy and had a few questions on it.
Are you able to mount this on a photo tripod with the clamp ring that comes with? And how many mounts dose it allow for things like a finder scope and ect...
I would like to put 2 things on it but cant tell from the pictures if it can. Can you recommend a correct image finder scope that will mount on this?
Also will I be able to see this red dot finder during the day? http://www.opticsplanet.net/televue-sta ... irror.html becuse I would use the scope mainly for terrestrial viewing.

Re: Question on the Televue 85
Hi
Yes, the tube ring allows for mounting on any photo tripod.
If you plan to bolt on a finderscope, your only option is a Televue Starbeam, but if you use double-sided tape or Velcro, you can add something like the Celestron.
