Difference in Meade ETX-90AT & Meade ETX-90PE telescopes

I see that you have a Meade ETX90 PE on special, and I do see there is a difference in a price and color, but what are the main difference between Meade ETX 90 AT telescopes and Meade ETX 90 PE telescopes in Meade ETX Premier Edition line?

It is a pretty common question, and we will probably add it to our Meade Telescope FAQ. Upgrading to the Meade ETX 90 PE telescope model from the Meade ETX-90 AT makes telescope alignment significantly quicker and easier. With the Meade ETX 90 Premier Edition, you do not have to point your scope North, or to level the telescope, and you do not need to set the clock as with the ETX AT.Our Meade ETX 90 PE does all this for you. In addition, the ETX-90 PE an advanced red dot finderscope (Smartfinder) that is much easier to use than the standard 8x21mm finder scope on the Meade AT telescope. Also, the ETX 90 PE comes with a computer interface cable (not included on the ETX-90 AT). This cable allows you to download the latest software upgrades available from the www.Meade.com website. Your Meade PE telescope can always be upgraded to the latest software. If you enjoy setting up your telescope or you are on the budget, a standard Meade ETX Telescope is a great choice. If you enjoy the latest and gratest gadgets and advanced technology or want to simplify and speed up the setup of your telescope, we highly recommend one of our Meade ETX Premier Edition telescopes - a "PE upgrade" is for you and we think it is well worth the price!
