New LX80 Mount and Old lx200 emc ota

I have a LX200 that doesn't seem to work anymore. Don't know why--checked the fuses and replaced still nothing . . . . any help would be great


but if not . . . .

I am looking at the new [link=http://www.opticsplanet.com/meade-brand.html]Meade[/link] lx80 mount and wondering if it would be possible to remount the 8" SCT OTA from my lx200 to use on the lx80 mount.

Possible?

Looks like you could IF you add a dovetail plate to the OTA, but that would probably entail some modification to the OTA. I don't see a ready to go bolt on plate, anywhere. I'd definitely check with Meade before proceeding.
