Help with lens cell
I recently purchased a 152mm (actually measures 155mm OD x 28mm thick) f/10 lens set but it came without a lens cell. I found a used Celestron (Synta) CR-150, f/8 optical tube assembly (with lens) for sale online but I'm not sure if the cell would accommodate a 155mm OD lens and the ownwer wasn't willing to remove the lens to measure it's OD or cell ID. Can anyone shed some light on this issue? I'm open to suggestions and any info that might help.

For some reason, (typo?) I was logged in as telestar on my original post, my username is actually telestar1. BTW I do realize an f/10 lens requires a longer tube.

You can get a new lens cell from either Amazon.com or flipkart.com

We don't deal in telescope making equipment or building parts, but going online is probably your best bet. Try ATM, for instance for resources
