Is there a rangefinder that would be appropriate to use for both hunting and golf? Cant afford to buy two but would like to have one to use for both, mainly golf. Need to have something accurate for hunting deer or antelope out to 500 yards.[/b]

Hi

Hi

As I mentioned in a previous post, go with a dedicated golf model when you have a choice. Golf laser rangefinders have software that makes the nearest target (the flag) the priority. Field and hunting rangefinders, such as the Leupold, have software that makes the most distant target the priority and will try to ignore the closest target (the flag). You can use field rangefinders for golf, but it may take several tries to get a reading on the flag.
