Comments: I was curious why the Pentax AC rangefinder was discontinued and which you thought was better the Opti-Logic XT series or the Pentax AC series and why? I know the Opti-Logic is the only angle compensating rangefinder you offer now but the Pentax AC is still available on the web. I would appreciate a honest opinion because right now I am not sure which way to go. Thank you for you time and input.

Dear Eric.
Pentax rangefinders were made for Pentax by Opti-logic, there was no difference in the product.
I'd go with Opti-logic laser range finders simply because you get full warranty and full support. Pentax no longer supports their laser rangefinders because they have been discontinued.. Opti-logic makes exceptional laser rangefinders and the reviews from the field have been great.
