Night Vision for Crossbow hunting

I have a permit to hunt deer in an area 7 days a week 24 hours per day. I have legal permission to use my Parker crossbow. I am trying to decide how practical a night vision scope would be, if so which one. Budget is important. Hunting distance would be a shot max 50 yards.

Hi Patrick,

The Night Owl scope you were looking at is a good choice. A better choice
might be the mk390 http://www.opticsplanet.net/atnarmkpalni.html because it
comes rearward closer to your eye.

Even if it's a nuisance permit, better check for legally using night vision
for game.

Since you're shooting so close, parallax will be a problem, as well as being
able to sight the scope in at close distances.
