Sent my bushnell back

Postby Guest on Fri Mar 24, 2006 6:23 pm

Hello. A few weeks ago I made a post about my bushnell elite 20x60x70. Jonie and I had a long discussion. I was describing to her that my scope was giving me a "narrow view" effect that I didn't like. I used a coffee can and a paper towl roll to help explain. Hopefully she remembers :) http://www.opticsplanet.com/msgboard/about1511.html
Anyway after some long hard thought I took the scope back and ordered a new one. It is the kowa 60mm NON-ED glass spotting scope TSN-601 http://www.opticsplanet.com/kowa-60mm-h ... copes.html with the optional 20x60 zoom eyepiece model TSE-Z9B. This is my question for jonie (since she has always been so helpful :) ) I was wondering where I should keep my expectitations with this scope. Is this scope going to be optically and mechanically better than my previous Elite? The scope will be here next week and I can't wait :D . Anyway, how much of a performence gain should I expect. Thanks

Hi

Good for you! That is a dynamite little scope with that eyepiece. What you can expect is sharper and brighter images as well as more of that "picture window" effect. If this one doesn't work for you, I doubt any spotting scope will.

Please let me know how it works for you!
