for general short range daytime (100-300 yards) viewing and nighttime digiscoping of the moon, for a inexpensive scope, i am considering the celestron ultima 65 "angled" scope along with the barska digiscoping adapter for my canon a610 camera. is this a good match? my camera has full manual control, is there any issues with using the camera to scope adapter as far as clearance from lens to lens? thank you, dan.

That should work fine. If you experience clearance problems when zooming the camera lens. forget the zoom on the camera and just get your desired magnification with the spotting scope.
