Selecting a spotting scope for rifle range use

:?: I am trying to find a spotting scope that will show a 1/4 inch hole at 200 yards. Will a 30x50 work for this? My vision is corrected to about 20/20. Thank you

Spotting scope for rifle range

Thank you for your interest in The Yukon 30x scope,, will have enough magnification to easily see a bullet hole at 200 yards. However, I do generally recommend a zoom scope for your purpose. The advantage to a 20-60x zoom, is you can start on low power which will help you find what you are looking for, and then at 60x, you will get a lot more detail on that image. For that I would suggest one of the following scopes: ... scope.html, Tasco world class, or ... 60x60.html, Bushnell Sportview.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
