Celestron 80 and Canon 20d DSLR

Postby kdiver58 on Thu Apr 12, 2012 5:08 pm

I have a Canon 20d that I want to attach to my Celestron Ultima 80 spotting scope. I know I need the Celestron Item # 93419 T-Ring to attach to the camera. I've looked over and over on the Celestron web site and the T-ring adapters that specifically said they were for the spotting scopes are shown as discontinued. Which T-ring adapter do I need to attach the Canon 20d DSLR and
#93419 T-ring to my Celestron Ultima 80 Straight spotting scope. Thanks .. K

You will need a t-ring for an EOS, Celestron 93419, but no adapter other than that. Peel back the rubber eyepiece off the Ultima (do not unscrew the top of the eyepiece - just peel it back) and you will see threads for the 93419. You then just attach your camera body to the t-ring.
