Old Busnell Legend

Postby sixslinger on Fri Feb 22, 2013 4:26 pm

I have an old Bushnell Legend 20-60x60, before they came out with the ED version. I want to step up to a better scope and would like some advice.

Two things that I need are, one, I need something packable and, two, 60x magnification, I hunt exclusively out west and am scoping way out there.

I really like Vortex and know that either of their HD models (Viper or Razor) would be a major step up, but their 65mm only have 15-45x mag and their 80mm are too heavy and long.

The Diamondback and Nomads come in 20-60x60, but am I going to get that much better glass?

Does anyone have input? It would be appreciated.

I also need to keep it under $1,000.

Take a look at the Pentax PF-65EDA II compact 20-60x65. It's a quality scope with ED glass in a compact and carryable size.
