Shipping and Stock Misrepresentation

Ordered two items listed as in stock and ready to ship in 1-2 days. Two weeks later, the items are still listed as "Order Pending." Each day I contact customer service they assure me that the items are packaged, ready to ship and that I should receive a tracking number the following morning. The first representative even claimed that the items were packaged and waiting on the dock to be picked up by the carrier.

Anyone thinking of ordering from Optics Planet should heed this warning.

Anyone else who has experienced such misrepresentations should follow my lead and make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and your state's attorney general:

Optics Planet managers should review federal trade laws regarding these types of misrepresentations. When you are selling a product, it is illegal to lie, and managers can be held accountable for employee actions.

Hi Disappointed,

If you can provide an order number, I'd be happy to have a supervisor investigate this issue with both the warehouse and our customer service team.

While occasionally it does take longer than we would like to process a shipment, two weeks is not acceptable. We would like to figure this out and remedy it ASAP.
