Hi there o wise ones!!!
I am looking to purchase a telescope for my boyfriend and I'm leaning towards the Bushnell 100x4.5 Voyager Reflector...........but here's my problem.
Being the skeptic that I am, I'm wondering why the price of $98 bucks?
What is the big drawback of this telescope?
My boyfriend is an extremely agile older gentleman, but I don't want him to have to kill himself to use this. Can you tell me more about how user-friendly this particular telescope is?
I've read all the faq's and information areas on your site and I am having a hard time applying that knowledge I've gained into which one to buy!
Help me please>......Julie Castro Valley CA

Hi
The Bushnell Voyageur is about as simple to use as a telescope gets. Just set it in its cradle mount and point it at the object you wish to view.
The drawback of this kind of telescope is primarily in its mount. It will not be as user friendly at higher magnifications as a standard equatorial telescope mount, nor will it give as sharp an image at higher magnifications than a larger telescope. _________________ ----------------------
