Customer Forced to Resolve Shipping Problems

I placed an order several weeks ago. The system lost or didn't accept the suite # for my shipping address. UPS was unable to locate me in a 20 story office tower and placed the package in UPS hell. I called OPI to determine my options since I couldn't reach UPS over the weekend. They told me I could either pick up the package or pay $10 to redirect it. I told them I'd think about it.

I talked to UPS today and they said OPI called and told them to hold it for pickup. Then they told me I could have given tem a suite number and gotten it delivered for free if I called before OPI had told them to hold it.

When I called OPI back, they essentially said tough luck, we did what we thought was right. Now I either pay ten bucks through OPI (no way) or take a cab and 1/2 hour of my time to get the goods.

Bad system; bad customer service and bad attitude.

I could have been a customer for life; now I'm an enemy for life. Never again OPI.

Sorry you had a bad experience. Seems like the suite number should've been offered as part of your address, no?
