I am looking at both these telescopes for our family. However, I am interested in getting a telescope that is motorized. Any suggestions on a telescope in this quality and close to the price range that is also motorized?
Thanks

Hi

The Meade ETX70-AT is motorized and computerized and a good choice in a double duty telescope for day and night use. The computer program and optics in the Meade are first rate and are well worth the money. Quality-wise, this telescope is well ahead of the Bushnell 675x5.

The Bushnell, though, is a considerably larger telescope and will show you more objects. Note that it is a strictly manual telescope - no motorization or computer. Also, it will be of limited use as a daytime telescope.

For the family, go with the Meade.
