i would like to try the frame on before ordering ..

Hi,
I am interested in ordering a pair of trial frame glasses (Ray Ban 6128 purple) to take to the optometrist to measure the seg ht for a bifocal progressive glasses. I try to order one on your web page but I don't see any info on how to order the one. Please guide me to the process of ordering a pair. I have the prescription but they told me that I need to take the frame to them to measure the segment height. Do I have to purchase the frame first? How its work?

If you are planning to order bifocal or progressive lenses, you will need to get Segment Height measurement for the specific frame you are going to purchase with Rx lenses. In case of single vision lenses (either for far, computer or near distance only), the prescription information that you got from your optician will be enough.

If you do not have the frame to take to your optician, we can always send you one for a trial. If you would like to get the Ray Ban RX 6128, you can get the frame without lenses here. When you take it to your optician and get the Segment Height measured, you can return the frame to us and we will complete it with bifocal lenses.

We sell both prescription eyeglasses and eyeglass frames on the site. So, you can always to place an order for the frames first before ordering Rx lenses. Same thing is with the prescription sunglasses. You can get the same model of sunglasses with non-Rx lenses to try on or get segment height measured if needed.

Can I try sunglasses before ordering prescription lenses? I do not need bifocals or anything. Just want to know if they fit me.

You sure can.

We sell matching non-prescription sunglasses (as well as eyeglasses frames without lenses) for every pair of prescription sunglasses or eyeglasses that we list on our web site. So you can just order a regular pair of sunglasses or eyeglass frames, try them on, and either return for a refund if you do not like them or send it back to us and we will fit these frames with Rx lenses.
