What glasses for my face?

Postby enarchay on Thu Aug 27, 2009 12:03 am

My prescription has changed so I'm looking to buy some new frames. My question is what glasses do you think would look good with my face shape? Here's a picture of myself:

It seems like plastic frames are really in style, but the ones I tried fit way too tightly. So instead I was looking at something like this:

Do you think these would look good, or what else would you recommend?

Also, what color should I aim for? I have blue eyes and light skin if it is not clear in the picture.

Thanks.

I would select a frame with straight and angular lines. Rectangular eyeglasses should work best of all. As far as the color, I would recommend black. It always look bold and classic. Something like RX 5171.

What did you think of the ones I linked in my post? Those ones seemed to fit me best, and while I could order plastic frames off the internet, I'd be afraid they wouldn't fit once I got them.

These are Ray Ban RX 8611. The option: 1012-5418: Matte Black Ray Ban Frame (last four digits stand for the lens size and distance between the lenses you were talking about in the previous post). It has a rectangular form, so it should look nice on you as well.

If you are planning to purchase these Ray Ban eyeglasses, you can place an order here http://www.opticsplanet.com/ray-ban-rx- ... asses.html. Let me know if you need any help with filling out your prescription information or help with the lens choice.

Honestly, I just searched google for a forum to get advice, I didn't even notice that this forum belongs to an eye-wear business.

What is the return policy, if there is one at all? Because I'm wondering if I should give those one plastic frames a try in the larger size, but if they don't fit send them back. I went to two other eye-wear stores the other day and neither carried them.

If you would like to try the frame on, it is better to order eyeglasses frames without Rx lenses. If you don't like it, you can return it for exchange or a full refund. As soon as you decide on the frame, you can place an order for prescription eyeglasses (or if you alreday have the frame, you can just send it back to us and we will fit them with Rx lenses). Since Rx lenses are custom made for each consumer, they are non-returnable.

You can place an order for Ray Ban frames without lenses here and for Ray Ban eyeglasses with Rx lenses here.
