What does the mirror coating look like?
Hi,
I was thinking of getting some prescription Wayfarers, and I was wondering if you have any pictures of sunglasses with the mirror coating option? Since it seems like there is a lot of variety in the coatings (how reflective they are, etc) between labs and brands.
Also, do you have the Top Black/Azure RB2140 in stock?

Re: What does the mirror coating look like?
Hi, Thanks for the post. Mirror coatings are standard. They are offered in two different variables. Solid and Flash (gradient). Solid is the full reflective coating and doesn't allow someone looking at you to see your eyes. Flash is a quick application used to make the lenses shine. This is hard to show online. However mirror is common on most fashion lenses.
The Top Black on Transparent Azure model of the Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Prescription Sunglasses RB2140 is available and ready to ship to our lab for your custom order. The color code is 10013F and it comes in 50mm and 54mm.

Re: What does the mirror coating look like?
So if I order the "gradient" coating, it will be the flash coating? Can it be done on polarized polycarbonate lenses?

Re: What does the mirror coating look like?
Correct, if you order the gradient mirror coating it will be flash. This is available on polarized lenses as well.
I hope this helps.
