Ray ban prescription gradient lens

Postby Guest on Fri May 11, 2012 5:57 am

I am interested in buying a pair of rb3477 prescription sunglasses with a gradient lens. I found them in a LensCrafters but was told that ray ban doesn't do prescription lenses with a gradient color. Is this true? I was told that the only options for prescription lenses were brown, grey, and grey/green. I really like the brown gradient and would love to get them in a prescription. Thanks for your help!

Hello,

Thanks for the post. The Ray-Ban RB3477 Sunglasses would be available with gradient brown lenses with your custom prescription. Our local lab is authorized to match Ray-Ban's materials, colors and technology. Please contact me directly at 1-800-504-5897 ext 320. Have your prescription ready and I will be happy to give you a quote.

I look forward to working with you.

I am interested in Ray Ban 3362 with silver frames and the radiant grey lenses in prescription. Is this possible? I'm at LensCrafters, and they can make gradient lenses to fit into the frames, but they are not Ray Ban lenses and do not have the anti-glare protection. Additionally, they do not have the familiar logo on the top left lens. I am a loyal Ray Ban customer, and if I pay for good glasses, I want everyone to know exactly what product I'm wearing.

Can you all sell a paid of Ray Ban lenses in the radiant grey for these frames in prescription lenses?

Hello,

Thank you for the post. Ray-Ban doesn't have a prescription program. They authorized labs to offer a lens as close as possible to the authentic Ray-Ban non RX lenses. OpticsPlanet can offer a gradient lens with AR non-glare coating produced by Essilor. However, these will not the the Ray-Ban RX lenses. They do not exist yet. Take a look at the Ray-Ban Cockpit Prescription Sunglasses RB3362.

I hope this sheds some light on the situation.
