I'm looking for a spotting scope for our son for Christmas, to be used for hunting, and don't want to pay over $200. Research shows a Bushnell 20-60x60 (78-2660) as waterproof, fogproof. Another is Bushnell 20-60x63 Waterproof (787363).
The original price is so much higher on the second one yet I see not much difference. Specifications I can be specific on are that he wears glasses and it must be waterproof. Can you explain the difference and am open to any other suggestions as I'm not too sure about what I'm doing. Would like the optics to be clear. Thanks.

Hi Judith

The original price listed for these products is the manufactuer's suggested retail price. We sell our products to be competitive and rarely use those prices.

The Bushnell 20-60x63 Waterproof (787363) spotting scope and the Bushnell 20-60x60 (78-2660) spotting scope are both good choices and much the same in terms of features. Since we have the Bushnell 20-60x63 Waterproof (787363) in stock, ready for immediate shipment, it would be your best choice if you need something as a gift.
