Hi,
I am a building inspector & many of the inspections I do are in poorly lite areas. I need a flash light that is 7-8 inches in length, extreamly bright, have a 2-3 hours minimum battery life, able to adjust the focus to a "Moon type" focus without distortion & be recharable.

Hi,
For a super bright rechargeable, one light that comes to mind is the Surefire L7 Lumamax Rechargeable LED Flashlight. This super bright LED light never needs a replacement bulb, and has about 5 times the output of a 2 D cell flashlight. This does not, however focus from spot to flood.
For something a little larger, you can use the Mag Instruments (Mag Lite) Mag Charger
