Can't I use rechargeable batteries in a normal Mag 3D LED?

Postby hyenawatcher on Fri Jun 05, 2009 9:20 am

I'm heading out for a long stay in a game park in Africa and I need a rechargeable LED flashlight. The price for the Maglite rechargeable system is pretty steep (not to mention the higher-end Surefires and others).

Is there some reason why I can't use rechargeable D batteries in a regular Maglite 3D LED?

Hi,

I can think of no reason why you could not use rechargeable D batteries in the Mad LED lights.
Best regards,
