LED vs. Xenon- AA or AAA
I am looking into a general use flashlight running on AAA or AA (would like tactical style but not required). I would like to keep price low and does not have to be aluminum. I want most output for price and reliability. Having to change bulbs for a non-LED is acceptable. Would I do better with LED or Xenon or other? I have noticed the Browning, TerraLux, Bushnell, StreamLight, Pelican, and others.

The Fenix LD10 would be a great choice for you. For around $60 you are getting 130+ max lumen output and a 2.2 hour run time for 105 lumens on 2 AA batteries. This model also features a strobe function.

I understand you get what you pay for in the marketplace today. Can you provide some guidance bringing the price down on a flashlight? Again, metal or non-metal, LED, Xenon, other, AA or AAA are the main criteria.
Thanks.
