what is the differance between Insight and Streamlight m3x lights for springfield armorys xd45 handgun.they look identical and sell for 4$ differance

Insight Technology made the lights for Streamlight. When the current supply of Streamlight lights are gone there will be no more. IT will sell them. Streamlight is offering the TLR series instead.
