Binnocular Tripod

Postby Frank S. on Mon Jan 12, 2009 12:10 pm

I have a Celestron 93606 tripod for my Celestron Binoculars. I use it for distance observations and star gazing. Any suggestions on using this set up other than sitting on a stool for looking into the heavens so as to avoid stooping down to look thourgh the eye pieces. How about a table with a "U" shaped cut out to allow sitting or standing "under" the tripod set on the table? Any thoughts? Thank you.

Hi

What you want is a parallelogram bino mount. These have been around a long time, but are not common items. The ones I've used were custom jobs. We don't carry one, but you may wish to check with Orion or do a google search. Sorry, no one makes a product like you describe.
