Hi can you tell me about a good full size stable tripod for viewing off a cabin deck looking at mts.I just purchased a nikon spotter XL as a kit with scope cover compact tripod and case. Also have a bushnell space master II . But i do not have a tripod for it .Compact tripod just shakes to much on hi power when extented all the way up.Asked this topic on a optic site but have not got answer yet .Do not want to spend a lot of money something simple but solid. Thanks ps also thanks so much for answering my topic on diff. in XL and XLII spotting scopes.

Hi

Be tough to beat the Nikon 848 for any 60 or 65mm size spotting scope. it's what I use on my Kowa 663. Excellent value.

Wt. 5 lbs
Maximum Height - 62.5 inches
Minimum Height - 20.5 inches
