Parts and Head
Hi,
I just bought an AL-2000 laboroscope from someone who never used it. But after setting it up, I realized that the is supposed to be a part which fits into the hole behind the condenser, and it isn't there.
Can I buy that little part. Without it, the condenser sits too far back.
Also, my eyes are very narrow set and I can't adjust the eyepieces to be narrow enough. Do you know of any solutions? I can buy a used Zeis binocular head with a 43mm dovetail which can be adjusted for narrower set eyes. Is that a workable option?
Thanks you,
Todd

Thanks and oops
Thank you. And I realized that I don't need a different head. I simply didn't have the dovetail in all the way, so I was getting double vision because of that, not because my intra pupilary distance was less than the scope could do.
I'm adding this just because I don't want anyone to think the adjustment is less than other scopes. I measured, an it is the same as the zeis, 55mm.
I'll email you at sales. Thanks,
Todd
