Gemological mircroscope

I have an older Portable Gem Lab, (Maxi-lab), from the GIA Gem Instruments. They no longer are making, selling, or repairing these. It was a very expensive unit in a haliburton case. The electronic control panel has malfunctioned and I am no longer able to use any of the unit. My main problem is the the microscope is perfectly usable, except I am unable to get power to the unit. A local electronics repair shop used to repair my equipment for me. They have retired and I am at a loss for what I should do. I am an independent Gemologist and am stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The main problem is that the control panel provides power to my dark field illumination, and a fiber optic light source for over head lighting. If I cannot get the electrical system repaired for the lab, I need to find a compatible base that I can use my American Optical pod with. Hopefully with its own light source.

Sorry, we do not offer repair or replacement parts for any brand. You will need to contact the manufacturer or someone who does independent repair/rebuild on microscopes. Suggest you do a google search for a repair facility in your area.

would you be interested in selling it as is? what equipment did it com with???
