LOMO vs Konus for bacteria photography

Hello,
I can spend about $3-500, and need to ask: Between Konus 1000x and LOMO SF-50 or 100, which microscopes would be better for photographing bacteria?

Also, is it better to use a good SLR camera with adapter or to purchase the digital eyepiece that fits on the microscopes? If the later, which one goes with LOMO?

Because the LOMO appears to be a stereograph microscope, I was wondering if will work for viewing bacteria.

Hi

You need the magnification of the Konus or other compound microscope to observe bacteria. You won't even come close to the needed magnification with a stereo like the LOMO.

I reordered and chose the Konus Campus 1000x, immersion oil, bacteria slide samples and the Barska Camera adapter, appreciate this and the phone CS I spoke with, both very helpful.

ok, hello again, I have another question.

The shipping was quick and we received the microscope quickly, thank you. And although we've been happy with everything we see from the two lower powered objectives, we have not been able to resolve images from either of the two higher powered objectives, 65x or 100x .

Can anyone recommend some websites that might help with this, or give us more information about resolving, since even if start with the lower powered objectives first and can see those, we still aren't able to see a thing out of the ones we'd like to see bacteria with, so I think we really need help.

That is a matter of learning to use the microsocpe, especially the condenser system.
