Can the Multiscope nosepiece be turned around?

Postby Rocketcaver on Sat Dec 27, 2008 4:31 pm

I use my Multiscope in the "European" configuration, that is with the
arm facing away from me as in the photo you see everywhere.
This feels natural to me as it is the way my lab scopes at work are
set up.
However, the objectives are in my way when placing and removing
slides, I'm always hitting something with my hand or the slide.
Is it possible to turn the turret around the other way so it is
configured more like other lab scopes, with the unused objectives
facing away from the operator?
That would make the scope much easier to use, especially for my wife
who is accustomed to the lab scopes, this one baffles her every time.
I thought I would ask before taking anything apart.
Thanks
