How much?

My last microscope was broken in 1953! It's time to replace it!

What would it cost for a microscope that would actually allow me to observe cells in the blood?

Hi

Any compound will do that to some extent, but if you want a basic, medical grade compound in a bright field, expect to pay about $500. These days, dark field microscopes are often used for blood work. Expect to pay a bit more for a dark field version - around $1000 for a medical grade scope.
