Night Vision Effective Range

Good question.
The effective range of night vision varies on certain factors like; how much ambient light is available in the environment, if there are lots of clouds, if there is a moon out. A lot of things can come in to play but conservatively speaking you can expect the following; Gen 1+ up 100 yards, Gen 2+ up to 200 yards, Gen 2+ CGT/HPT up to 250/275 yards, and Gen 3 up to 300 yards. Again with changes in the environment one can expect more or less.
