I'm looking at purchasing either a Canon XL2 or a Panasonic AG-DVX100B and am looking for a professional grade tripod to work with either one of these camcorders with the best, easiest and smoothest pans. What> heads and tripods will work best with these camcorders?

The Bogen kits such as the basic 3180N,
