Any expereience with this item. I was thinking of getting one for an AR and was concerned about durability and compatibility with a flip-up rear sight.

Any comments would be appreciated, I just don't know where I can get my hands on one to look at it before I buy.

Hi,

The units are okay, but you'll be too low with a flattop mount to clear your front sight. That means a riser, then your rear sight won't line up. Durability is fine for an AR. A carry handle mount is useful for these sights and Docter sights.
