Do you have suggestions for an affordable microscope for looking at things like bacteria?

Hi

Bacteria require higher magnifications than most microbes, so you'll be miles ahead to invest in a model with solid optics, a mechanical stage, dual focusing, oil immersion and built - in illumination. Best deal for the money here is the LOMO BMH4-BF.
