What is the difference between the Explorist 600 and the XL. Both are
around $400.00 and the features read the same. What is the advantage
of each. I want to use it to track our bicycle expeditions. A
co-worker had a GPS that enabled him to download his boating trips to
his laptop. I would like to have that ability as well. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi

The Magellan Explorist XL has a larger screen and much more internal memory. The Magellan Explorist 600 recreational GPS receiver has
3-axis electronic compass, a barometric pressure altimeter, barometer, and
thermometer.
