ATN Omega Class 8X36 RF Daytime Range Finder Military does not have a laser rangefinder. This is an optical grid rangefinder
which require you to know the size of the object in question, then do calculations to determine range, typically according to the formula:

DISTANCE = ACTUAL HEIGHT X 1000 ACTUAL HEIGHT = DISTANCE
X SCALE HEIGHT

SCALE HEIGHT
1000
