Hello,
As I go out in the field in all sorts of weather, and go in marshes and other wetlands in search of amphibians, I consider that I would be better served by using a waterproof camera. I would also like to use the same camera for digiscoping. Are there point and shoot digital cameras which are both waterproof and suitable for digiscoping? The Pentax Optio W60 is waterproof, but is it suitable for digiscoping? Are there other models which I should consider?

Hi
The Pentax Optio W is a good choice and will do fine for digiscoping. In fact, it will be a better choice than most point and shoots for digiscoping because it does not have a telescoping zoom lens.
