Downloading images from camera to computer

My daughter received a Sakar digital camera as a gift. I have a Mac and I'm unable to download the images from the camera to the computer because the "Sticker Factory" software is only PC compatible. Is there any other way I could get the images from the camera to the Mac without using the "Sticker Factory" software?

You should be able to get an inexpensive USB card reader, if hour Mac doesn't have one already; Open the files; select them all and drag-drop into a designated folder
