Kodak did not make a Flip-up Lens cap for the Kodak Z612 (inside cap width @54mm, my best measurement). In fact, Kodak didn't make even the kind of lens cap that clicks on with 2 press-in tabs on opposite sides. I see there are lots of flip-up lens caps for rifle scopes. Are there any flip-up lens caps that would fit over the outside ring of the Kodak Z612 digital camera? If so, where can I find one to buy?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Sorry, we don't sell Kodak or parts for Kodak cameras. Best to check with a Kodak camera dealer. Do a google search for a dealer in your area.

Flip-up Lens cap (inside cap width @54mm)
Thanks for your reply, but I'm not looking for a Kodak part. As I said in my post, "Kodak did not make a Flip-up Lens cap for the Kodak Z612 (inside cap width @54mm, my best measurement). In fact, Kodak didn't make even the kind of lens cap that clicks on with 2 press-in tabs on opposite sides."
I'm just looking for a flip-up lens cap made by ANYBODY that is @54mm wide inside the cap.
I haven't been ableto locate one using your search engine, but I thought you might sell one that I have not been able to find.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me.

Hi
Same answer - we cannot guarantee a fit. You are welcome to try the Butler Creek - check the link - it lists the sizes. One inch equals 25.4 millimeters, but you are going to have to have the camera and cover in hand to know for sure - close does not count. Since you are knowingly buying a product not intended for use on your camera, you would be responsible for all return shipping charges if it does not fit. If that is unacceptable, check a local gunshop. They often carry this product and you can check for fit on the premises.
