OLYMPUS STYLUS 1030SW for Digiscoping

Hello,

For out in the field, I like the ruggedness of the OLYMPUS STYLUS 1030SW. I would also like to use it for digiscoping, but wonder if it is suitable for this application given its square framed lens.

Your help would be apprciated.

Hi

No reason not to use this camera. It has the basics for digiscoping - small lens and small size. I have digiscoped with similar cameras with good results. You will need a universal stle digiscoping bracket to use it on any spotting scope. Try a rail style universal style adapter such as the Alpen 706 or a bracket style universal adapter, such as the Konus.
