Digital Camera for boating

I already have a great digital camera but it's not water resistant. I need a camera for boating to take pics of wildlife. I'm debating buying a cheap (1/3 the price) non-water residtant digital rather than spending a bunch for a Bushnell or other water-resistant camera.

Reliability and performance of cheap digital camertas is low. Recommend a solid camera, such as the Pentax Optio W20 waterproof 7.0 Megapixel digital camera 19123.
