Looking for a range finder - read abit on your web site (good info
thanks) The range finder would be mostly for bow hunting and maybe
some some rifle in wide open fields. I like the 440 but it's only
water resistant while the 800 is waterproof for an extra $100 or so.
How resistant to water is water resistant? Light rain OK? or do you
have to keep it very protected? Comments?
I'd still go with the Nikon 440 Laser Rangefinder, even though it is not rated as fully waterproof. Nikon is very strict about labeling products as waterproof and even their water resistant products are quite weather resistant. Doubt you'll have a problem. _________________ Thanks for posting with us

Of course, if you have the money, the Monarch is the way to go. _________________ ----------------------
