What is the best all around rangefinder for hunting? I need something that will give ranges from 10 yds to 600 yds and will work on deer. Is there a rangefinder that will work in conjuction with a rifle scope?
Thanks for your time.

Hi

Good choices for a LRF for deer hunting include, the Bushnell Elite 1500 Laser Rangefinder, the Nikon Monarch Laser 1200 Rangefinder or the Swarovski Laser Guide 8x30 Laser Range Finder. However, despite the advertising, it is difficult to range on deer at 600 yards with any laser rangefinder. Most users target a larger and/or more reflective nearby object at those diatnces.

There are some LRF riflescopes appearing, but they are difficult to obtain and are, as of yet, unproven in the field as far as holding up to recoil.
