How are leupold windriver cascade binos in 10x42 as compared Nikon monarchs and Bushnell Legends for brightness, clarity and ruggedness? Also, what do you think of the cheaper Bushnell trophy model binos in 10x42? Are they worth looking @? The binos I choose are for hunting here in the east and for trips out west for big game.
Thanks,

Hi
The Monarch, Legend and Cascades are all very similar in quality and features. Our best seller and top choice at that price has always been the Monarch for its great optics, but the Leupold and Bushnell will serve you very well. Definitely recommended.
The Trophy, not being phase-coated, is defintely a cut below these in terms of image sharpness. _________________ ----------------------

I have never been real impressed with the Wind Rivers, they are too hit or miss in the quality department. The Monarchs are descent but not nearly to the level of the Monarch rifle scopes. I have always considered the Legends to be a best buy.
