Hi, I'm interested in the Yukon Sea Wolf but I noticed that it has 3x42 magnification. I read that when you have higher magnification the image is very blurry so is it possible to down magnify to 1x? Is there really a big difference between 1x and 3x anyway? Also another thing is that I wear glasses so if I were to walk around the forest at night with a headgear, would that pose a problem with comfort or ease of use? Would I be better off going with a binocular in that case?

Hi

You can change the magnification on the standard NVMT by purchasing one of the accessory objectives, but if you use these on the Sea Wolf, you lose the waterproofing feature. Not recommended

If you are using a head mount, stay with 1x. Using 3x as you walk will be very disorienting.
